Manchester
City are reportedly prepared to sell Leroy Sane in
the upcoming transfer window amid interest from Bayern Munich.
The
German champions are long-term admirers of the winger and made their interest
known last summer before a serious knee injury against Liverpool in the Community
Shield scuppered the deal.
Bayern have publicly discussed their interest in Sane during his rehabilitation
and are expected to revive their interest in Germany international when the
window reopens.
Sane will have just one
year left on his City deal in June and the Evening Standard report
the Blues are willing to negotiate his exit in order to avoid losing him for
nothing.
Reports have claimed Bayern will test
City's resolve with a £35million bid but City are not willing to lose the
forward on the cheap and will only discuss a transfer if he states his desire
to leave.
The
report adds City would rather see Sane leave on a free transfer than accept
Bayern's low offer.
Elsewhere,
reports in Italy claim City have held discussions with Brescia over a move for
midfielder Sandro Tonali.
The 19-year-old is considered one of
the country's brightest prospects and has played a starring role for the Serie
A side this season, breaking into the senior Italian national team.
Gazzetta dello Sport believe
Brescia owner Massimo Cellino has held talks with City regarding their interest
in the youngster but the Blues were informed Tonali has no intention of moving
to England.
Paris
Saint-Germain were also believed to be interested in the youngster but were
told he plans to stay in Italy
